Trinket Trading

Trinket Trading is a time-honored tradition, kept alive today at various Conventions, LARPS, and Renaissance Festivals! In the spirit of fun and wholesome mischief, the Night Court will be hosting trinket trading! Everyone is welcome to take part, and joining in on the game is easy.

What is Trinket Trading and how can patrons join this optional game?

Trinket Trading is a whimsical, social game where players bring small, unique handmade items or trinkets to trade with others. Each player starts by interacting with fellow participants, offering trades and negotiating to collect new and interesting trinkets. The goal is to trade strategically and creatively, ending up with a collection of fascinating items by the end of the night.

For ease of play, there will be designated trinket trading stations and staff at the ball who have items for trade. The trinket trading station will be marked on the event map when it is published.

Examples of trinkets: braided friendship bracelet, a small neat-looking rock, a tiny plastic duck, a beneficial magic spell on a scroll, a cute necklace charm, a flower crown, a lucky pirate coin, cute button, and more. Your imagination is the limit. Trinkets should be a reflection of you.
