Enigmatic and reclusive in nature, the remote Kingdom has kept its borders closed and ports sealed. For generations, it has shielded itself from the turmoil of other Kingdoms through isolation. When the diplomatic procession arrived at the borders, it was turned away, and the marching armies found themselves confused and left to wander for daring to march upon the reclusive Kingdom.
After generations of isolationism, it came as a great surprise as letters of invitation were issued to distant lands, summoning a select few to a great ball, a formal celebration of the arrival of Spring. Royalty, nobility, adventurers, Seelie and Unseelie fairies, one by one, receive their exclusive invitation to enter into the reclusive realm. Behind the unwelcoming border was an active Kingdom with its own story, Court, and legacy that those attending the Spring Ball can explore; earn relics and magical artifacts from.
Narrator Information About Back Story: The story of the Kingdom is planned to unfold over a series of events for everyone to enjoy. The Kingdom is original content and is intended to be inclusive for all fandoms from ACOTAR, Dungeons and Dragons, to Steampunk and beyond. We welcome original characters and people who do not LARP alike to enjoy our events and follow the story. Within our events, we hope you have magical main character moments.

Invitations are sent...
"It came to great surprise that the High Lord of Marilletha was not the one to receive a formal invitation to the ball. Rather, much to the surprise of his court his younger and often overlooked cousin was favored. Each invitation was deployed through magic, and ley lines were used to ferry each invitation to distant lands. Warded and shielded, each letter would arrive in due time into the hands of the intended party. The method of delivery was tailored to be pleasing to whoever it was intended for. For some, the letter arrived by way of a spirit form owl messenger; others would see the inscribed invitation simply poof into existence upon their desk, and in one particular case, an adventuring barbian deep within a dungeon in the Underdark had a mimic cough it up at his feet.
At a glance, the invitations are innocent, though the question remains as to why each individual was specially selected for an invitation. Spring is here, and the Seelie Fae and creatures of the Light stir to celebrate its arrival. Elsewhere, the Unseelie fae and creatures of the dark retreat as winter fades.
Narrator Information About Invitations: Those attending the ball are free to create their own narrative as to how their invitation has arrived. If you are so inspired, feel free to write a short story or description of the means in which your own customized invitation would arrive by magical means.
